Biography

I started my career in higher education in 2006 and had a variety of “hands-on” experiences at multiple levels; thus, giving me a unique understand how institutions work.

I enjoy working closely with leadership, faculty and staff in creating assessment plans and monitoring SACSCOC standards. I have presented several workshops and consulted on topics including accreditation prep, document review, academic and administrative assessment, QEP development and assessment, general education assessment, and building an infrastructure to sustain effectiveness efforts. My research focuses on assessment of first-year student success and just published a book on how to conduct focus groups.
