Using Focus Groups to Listen, Learn, and Lead in Higher Education

Dr. Paredes's co-authored book released October, 2018. This book describes the application of focus groups, a qualitative methodology, in institutions of higher education within the context of increasing calls for data to address the big questions of access, affordability, and accountability. The book makes the case that relying on metrics and quantitative data alone to explore these questions is insufficient.
